The standard pallet pack container three-piece system

Pallet Packs three-piece system

The standard pallet pack bulk container system consists of three parts:

  • A thermo-formed plastic pallet
  • Thermo-formed plastic top
  • Heavy-duty, triple-wall corrugated sleeve

The three parts allow for significantly improved warehouse utilization and a major reduction in return freight costs because of the nestable pallets and tops and the collapsible sleeves. Not only does the pallet pack system save space and money, but it also saves valuable time. It only takes one person one minute to assemble one entire pallet pack unit. The lightweight, individual pieces make the pallet pack system possible for most employees to assemble. Below is a step-by-step guide to assembling your pallet pack container.

What you need to assemble a pallet pack

What you will need:

Step 1 - Pallet Pack Base

Step 1:

Lay your DuraGreen Pallet Pack base on the ground. Make sure that the base is sitting correctly (exposed feet and yellow locking latches should be facing the ground).

Line up the pallet pack sleeve with the base

Step 2:

If collapsed, open your DuraGreen Pallet Pack Sleeve. There should be text of some kind on the sleeve, and you will want to make sure that it is not upside down. To find the bottom part, look for the ends with two openings on their sides. This will allow you to fit the bottom half into the base.

Step 3:

Once you have determined the bottom of the sleeve, insert the sleeve into the base. There are arrows on the bottom, directing to the openings where you put the locking latches. Reach under the base and pull the latches forward to glide through the openings of the sleeve. Do this to all four openings to keep the sleeve in place.

Step four lock lid into sleeve

Step 4:

By this step, you should have your sleeve locked into the base and in an upright position. Lastly, grab your DuraGreen Pallet Pack Top and set it on top of the sleeve. Make sure this is facing the same direction as the sleeve so it fits securely. Once the top is sitting on the sleeve, you will see two other sets of yellow locking latches. Pull those forward (use the arrows on the sleeve to guide you if you need help) to lock the DuraGreen Pallet Pack top into the sleeve.

Once these steps are completed, you are ready to use your DuraGreen Pallet Pack Container! To disassemble your container, perform the steps above backward.
