DuraGreen Reusable Plastic Gaylord

Reusable Plastic Gaylords

A gaylord is a reusable, collapsible bulk container specifically designed to handle the rigorous demands of storing and transporting flowable materials such as resins, powders, granulated materials, liquids and semi-liquids. Sometimes referred to as intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), they are made from FDA-approved, food-grade polymers. With a weight capacity of up to 3,300 lbs., plastic gaylord containers are engineered to withstand the pressure of flowable materials not possible with other bulk bins.

Reduce Waste and Cost With Reusable Plastic Gaylords

Reduce Your Packaging

DuraGreen plastic gaylords are a revolutionary way of storing and transporting flowable materials. You can reuse our gaylords hundreds of times — compared to the minimal use of corrugated cardboard. A gaylord container also creates a safe and clean working environment, as it does not have any nails, wood splinters or corrugated material.

Wasted space, wasted money

Cardboard gaylords only stack two high, leaving wasted vertical space. Twelve cardboard gaylords, stacked two high, take up 22.5' of valuable floor space.

Plastic Gaylords save on warehouse space compared to cardboard gaylords.

Manufacturing, storing, and shipping non-liquid “flowable” materials presents a special set of obstacles that aren’t present in other industrial applications. When storing materials such as resins, powders, pelletized products, or the like, the material inside your container can put an immense amount of lateral pressure on the walls. This lateral pressure can create a host of problems for safe storage, stacking, and transport, but these are issues that can be resolved by using RPP Container’s line of foldable IBC containers, or as we call them, our Reusable Plastic Gaylords.
