After all, what good is a strong bin if loading and unloading your product from the bins is too difficult? Our standard bins and custom units offer quite a bit of flexibility for loading and unloading.

Servicing a broad range of industries, the RPP team consistently listens to the needs of its diverse base of customers. Overwhelmingly, feedback indicated that extended-length parts that did not fit into standard size bins were the most challenging parts to package throughout the supply chain. RPP's CustomBulk® division set out to address those pain points for its customers.

RPP Containers CustomBulk® division designs and builds a multitude of custom bulk containers for customers specific applications. One of our popular designs is the barn door bulk container, which is custom designed and built to accommodate a variety of customers’ applications. Though our most common size has been the 45" x 48" x 50”, we can scale containers like this to fit any dimensions requested. Below are two such examples of specialized barn door containers, each fitting to customer specifications.

After some initial metrics were gathered, the prototype design was a basic cut/weld of our DGR454850-2 bulk container. The result was a product capable of holding significant weight and withstanding extreme sidewall pressure. Testing was done by filling the container with water from floor to top and performing anticipated tasks the customer described from their process. Due to the overall height and non-collapsible nature, this container was not expected to be stacked in transit or in storage.
