While the material handling world has evolved over the years, RPP's 3-pronged approach of reducing, reusing, and recycling has remained constant.
Reducing Waste
Every company has different packaging and shipping needs, which has led to the development and use of a plethora of sizes of single-use cardboard and wooden bins that just end up in a landfill after use. RPP's DuraGreen line of collapsible bulk containers, solid wall bulk bins, harvest bins, and pallet pack containers are available in well over 100 different sizes to make the switch to reusables as painless as possible. By working with our knowledgeable sales staff, we can help guide you to the right DuraGreen container that can help reduce the floor space needed to store your product after production and maximize your shipping efficiencies by fitting as many units into a truck, sea container, or rail-car as possible. Once your bulk boxes are ready to be returned and reused, many can be return shipped at ratios as high as 6 to 1. Reusability
The packaging efficiencies listed above can help reduce the physical number of bulk containers needed to package, store, and ship your products. Still, the reusable nature of our collapsible bulk containers is where they really shine. RPP Containers can refurbish and repair your bins to get them back into working order if your bins are damaged or broken during use. Doors, latches, and hinges can be replaced, and panels can be swapped out to extend the lifespan of your containers. If your bins are damaged beyond repair, our RefurBest line of containers gives you the option to purchase Grade A refurbished collapsible bulk containers that are restored to complete functionality, pressure washed, and covered by a 1-year warranty.
Recycling
When your containers do finally reach the end of their life cycle, RPP Containers remains committed to sustainability. We only sell 100% recyclable plastic bins, and when the time comes, we have a buy-back program where we can take your obsolete bulk containers and apply their recycled value to the purchase of new or refurbished bulk containers. Your obsolete containers will then be ground up and pelletized in one of the USA's largest plastic grinders. A portion of that recycled plastic will be added in with virgin material to mold new containers.
The Big Picture
RPP Containers kept over 11.7 million pounds of plastic out of the landfill through our recycling, repair, and refurbishing programs since the beginning of 2018.
